Ohio’s State Tests in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies (OST)

Each school district chooses a consecutive series of school days to administer state tests within specified windows, or periods of time.

FALL testing 2022

Test Dates:
  • Grade 3 English language arts – Oct. 17-Nov. 4, 2022
    • Five consecutive school days, including makeups
  • Printed family reports for Grade 3 English language arts tests are due in districts on January 23, 2023.
  • Results available for Districts
    • ​Online     December 12, 2022
    • Paper       December 19, 2022
    • Late          December 29, 2022
  • High school end-of-course tests – Nov. 28, 2022-Jan. 13, 2023
    • Fifteen consecutive school days, including makeups
  • Results available for Districts:

  • School districts select 15 consecutive school days, including makeups, within each test window.
