Register to attend upcoming webinar on new federal and state Identification Dashboard

4/12/2024

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has developed an Identification Dashboard to facilitate a better understanding of federal and state identifications of schools and districts. The dashboard allows for a statewide comparison of traditional schools and districts, as well as community schools, and displays detailed data related to identification criteria and cut points. The dashboard provides several different views of the data, including by region, with trend analyses, and by exit status. Additional identifications (such as special education profiles and ratings connected to IDEA) will be incorporated in the future.

The Department has also updated its identification webpage to include levels of federal and state mandated identification. Together, the dashboard and the webpage serve as the main resources for schools and districts to better understand federal and state identifications across the agency.

The Department will be hosting a webinar for school and district administrators and staff Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from noon-1:30 p.m. During the webinar, presenters will demonstrate how to use the dashboard, review the updated identification webpage, and answer any questions.
