BroadbandOhio seeking public comment for Ohio’s Digital Opportunity Plan

BroadbandOhio is working to secure federal broadband funds to bring reliable, affordable high-speed internet to every Ohioan. To ensure the plan reflects the perspectives and needs of all Ohioans, BroadbandOhio is requesting feedback on the first formal draft of Ohio’s Digital Opportunity Plan on BroadbandOhio’s Make Your Voice Heard webpage.

The plan seeks to address issues beyond connectivity including affordability, access to devices and digital skills, all of which affect Ohioans’ access to high-speed internet. This collaboration with stakeholders is crucial to creating a more digitally inclusive Ohio. Through ongoing partnerships and participation in listening sessions and surveys, more than 5,500 stakeholders already have contributed to developing the key components of the plan.
