In-person or virtual meetings for gifted education administrators

The Department invites district administrators responsible for gifted education programs to learn about gifted education guidance and hear updates from Department representatives. This year at the “Welcome Back to School Gifted Education Regional Meetings,” participants may choose from two different meeting formats: in person or virtual. Meeting topics include gifted education funding, supports and monitoring for gifted education, gifted education policy initiatives and strategic planning.

In-person meetings will occur as follows. Attendees must register at the links below:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 13, Southwest region, Montgomery County Educational Service Center
  • Thursday, Sept. 15, Central region, Educational Service Center of Central Ohio
  • Friday, Sept. 16, Southeast region, Ohio Valley Educational Service Center
  • Monday, Sept. 19, Northwest region, Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West
  • Monday, Sept. 26, Northeast region, Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio

Virtual meetings are not specific to a region but instead address a variety of topics. There is no need to register for the virtual sessions. Simply use the links below to access the meetings at the specified dates and times:
