Seeking feedback on procedural safeguards notice for parents of students with disabilities

The Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities is collaborating with the  Department to revise The Guide to Parents Rights. This notice helps educators inform parents of special education procedural safeguards. The coalition and its partners invite education professionals to an open forum to discuss proposed revisions to the notice. Two forums will take place via Zoom Feb. 15 and Feb. 21, 1-2:30 p.m. Register for the forum and access a draft of the revised parental notice on the event webpage.
