Free Kognito suicide prevention modules available

The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation has partnered with Kognito to provide free mental health and suicide prevention training for educators, staff and students. Kognito uses virtual, interactive, role-play simulations to prepare participants to have real-life conversations on topics like mental health, bullying and suicide.

The training modules At-Risk for Educators, Coping with Loss at School and Step In, Speak Up! are available to educators and staff.

The training module Friend2Friend: Emotional & Mental Wellness is available to students.

Educators, staff and students can access all modules on demand and complete each in 60 minutes or less. Visit ospf.kognito.org and select the appropriate school district and school building to create an account to access this free resource.
