Participate in the IDEA Monitoring Professional Learning Community Aug. 3

Join the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Monitoring Professional Learning Community Aug. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting offers the opportunity to discuss improving special education and receive technical assistance from peer districts and state support teams.

The community is open to any school or district interested in learning more about the special education monitoring process and what other districts are doing to improve their special education programs. Participants will hear from districts and community schools that recently have completed an IDEA monitoring review. Afterward, the staff from the Office for Exceptional Children's Supports and Monitoring Team will facilitate small-group discussions.
