Now open: Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid and Student Wellness and Success Reporting Tool

7/25/2022

During the 2021-2022 school year, many schools had three separate funding streams available for student wellness activities. These included the Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid, Base Cost Student Wellness and Success Component and remaining Student Wellness and Success Funds (from Fiscal Years 2020 and 2021). Schools and districts must complete a report detailing the planning, use of funds and expenditures from the 2021-2022 school year for the three funding streams. The reporting tool is available in the Data Collection Tool application in the OH|ID web portal. The reporting window is open through Sept. 9.

The Department offers a quick guide differentiating the three sources of funding. Schools and districts must report even if they did not spend any Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid, Base Cost Student Wellness and Success Component or remaining Student Wellness and Success Funding in Fiscal Year 2022.

More information is on the Department's webpage. The Department also offers guidance for using the reporting tool

Contact wellnessandsuccess@education.ohio.gov for general questions and questions about completing the report.

Check out Ideas for Innovation to see outstanding examples of the work Ohio’s schools and districts are doing to support students using these funds.
