Videos help middle-grade students explore careers

Ideastream Public Media’s NewsDepth is a weekly series that breaks down popular news stories into lessons for fourth to sixth grade students. Throughout the series, NewsDepth highlights various careers during Career Callouts. From environmental scientist to computer programmer, the student audience chooses which careers are featured. Educators can share the Career Callouts with students to spark career exploration.

Career Callouts were created by the Broadcast Educational Media Commission, the Department and Ideastream Public Media as a part of the Multimedia Grant project.
