Future Forward Ohio spotlights promising practices to accelerate learning

Ohio’s school leaders, educators, nonprofits, and other partners are sharing promising practices that use emergency COVID relief funds to accelerate student learning.

The Future Forward Ohio spotlights webpage features several new additions including: 

• The Toledo School District partnered with Health Partners of Western Ohio to create the Bowsher Health Center to provide additional resources to support students' physical and mental health as well as increase student attendance through the year. 
• The National Aviation Hall of Fame partnered with ThinkTV to accelerate student learning with activity boxes as well as in-person field trips at the Hall of Fame’s learning center to teach students about aerospace.

The Department invites all educators to share their stories about initiatives underway to help accelerate learning in their districts.
