Ohio financial literacy educators needed by March 31

Pearson’s Evaluation Systems group is working with the Department and seeking Ohio educators to participate in an online Financial Literacy Content Advisory Committee.

The Financial Literacy Content Advisory Committee will meet online April 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Content Advisory Committee members will review the draft test framework, including content domains, test competencies and descriptive statements. Members help ensure the content of the materials is accurate and appropriate for testing educator licensure candidates in Ohio.

Participating on the committee gives educators the opportunity to make a difference in Ohio teacher development and performance. It also allows participants to grow professionally and collaborate with other financial literacy colleagues. Substitute reimbursement is provided to public school educators.

Educators interested in serving on this committee can apply via the Ohio Assessments for Educators Assessment Validation Application Form by March 31.
