Congratulations to Ohio’s U.S. Presidential Scholars

U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recently recognized 161 high school seniors as U.S. Presidential Scholars. Among them were three Ohio students. The Ohio Department of Education congratulates:

• Pranav Sompalle, Mayfield High School, Mayfield
• Sanjana M. Velu, William Mason High School, Mason
• Jay G. Patel, Butler Tech Bioscience Center, West Chester Township

The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program recognizes the nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors. The scholars can receive this honor for excellence in academics, the arts or career and technical education fields.
