Deadline extended: American Rescue Plan Homeless Targeted Support grant

The Department is extending the deadline to apply for the previously announced American Rescue Plan Homeless Targeted Support grant. The extended application deadline is Nov. 4.

This grant is an opportunity for eligible community schools, traditional public school districts, Head Start programs and joint vocational school districts to support the exceptional and unique needs of students experiencing homelessness. Allowable uses for this grant include, but are not limited to, providing wraparound services, paying for the excess cost of transportation and meeting the immediate needs of students experiencing homelessness. Eligible applicants can complete the application on the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan. The application consists of three questions and a budget proposal.
