FY25 EMIS Changes Open for Public Comment
Ohio Law requires EMIS to create a process by which users of the system can review and provide public comment on new or updated EMIS Guidelines. EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted
on the website for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.

The public comment period for the following changes closes at the end of the day on May 9. Please see the webpage at the above link for complete details.
- 25-23 Clarify Preschool Special Education Reporting Guidance
- 25-32 Driver's Education as Credit Toward Graduation
- 25-33 Office of Early Learning and School Readiness Name change
- 25-36 Adds CTE Subject Codes
- 25-61 New core area code and subject area for credit options
- 25-66 Updates SNR Option B
- 25-79 Deletes Assignment Area 999725
- 25-80 Updates Required Assignment Area Reporting
- 25-93 Adds reporting for Alt-OELPA modalities
- 25-101 Removes SNR R as Valid Option for COS
- 25-103 Eliminates receipt codes from Section 6.4
