FY24 EMIS Changes Open for Public Comment
Ohio Law requires EMIS to create a process by which users of the system can review and provide public comment on new or updated EMIS Guidelines. EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted on the website for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.

The public comment period for the following changes closes at the end of the day on May 7. Please see the webpage at the above link for complete details.
  • 24-2 Delete two grad pathways program codes
  • 24-11 Update reporting guidance and validation for PS students
  • 24-18 New Manual section: 5.1.1 Reporting Calendars Overview
  • 24-20 Add separation reason to EMIS Manual Sections 3.7 and 3.8
  • 24-24 Correct file layout in EMIS Manual Section 4.4
  • 24-29 Remove District Testing Record
  • 24-31 Clarify staff override guidance
  • 24-37 Homeless and migrant status added to initial S collections
  • 24-38 GW collected in Exiting Student Follow-Up Collections
  • 24-43 Update to seal of biliteracy languages
  • 24-51 Delete current payables data element
  • 24-64 Update to KRA test dates
