EMIS Update: Data Appeal/Review & Verification – August 7, 2023

FY23 Data Appeals for Assessment, Final Exiting Student Follow Up (CTE), Staff and Course, and Calendar Data Open
From Monday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 18, districts may appeal the following FY23 data:
- Alternate Assessment
- CTE Assessment
- Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA)
- Final Exiting Student Follow Up (CTE)
- Final Staff and Course
- Final Calendar
These data may affect measures on the 2023 Ohio School Report Cards, as well as state funding received by districts. Note that this will be the only opportunity to appeal this data.
The superintendent, EMIS coordinator, and superintendent designee all can access and fill out the data appeal forms. However, the forms are not officially submitted to the Department until the superintendent approves the form to complete the process.
