One Needs Assessment

The One Needs Assessment (ONA) is a pre-planning tool designed to allow education entities to identify all their needs in a single location to drive impactful planning. The ONA is the first step of the planning process when using the Education Department’s System of Tiered E-Plans and Supports (ED STEPS).

The ONA pulls data from a variety of Department systems to create a unique comprehensive needs assessment for educational entities using their own data. The system has useful features such as auto saving and individualized priority needs selections. These priority needs become the structure for goals, strategies, and actions steps in the One Plan (OP).
