Ohio’s Whole Child Podcast: Centering Student Engagement

In the latest Whole Child Podcast, education leaders in Columbiana County discuss their efforts to coordinate school and community partnerships to support student engagement. The Coordinated Action for School Health Coalition, consisting of a collective of health and social service professionals, champion a whole child approach. Students take an active role in the coalition and community projects. During the episode, Superintendent Dr. Don Mook and High School Teacher Tricia Missos share how students in Columbiana High School’s Creative Entrepreneurship Class work with city officials to develop valuable skills and benefit the community.
