Extended reporting window for Venereal Disease and Sexual Education Instruction Audit

EdConnection previously announced the reporting window for districts to submit information for the Venereal Disease and Sexual Education Instruction Audit would close June 30. The window has been extended and now will close Aug. 1.

Ohio law requires the Department to conduct an annual audit of each city, local and exempted village school district regarding its compliance with the requirements for venereal disease and sexual education instruction. The audit is required by Ohio Revised Codes 3313.60 and 3313.6011.

The 2022-2023 audit opened March 15. The Department is collecting information for the 2022-2023 school year until Aug. 1. Districts may visit the Venereal Disease and Sexual Education Instruction Audit webpage for more information.
