EdConnection previously announced the reporting window for districts to submit information for the Venereal Disease and Sexual Education Instruction Audit would close June 30. The window has been extended and now will close Aug. 1.

Ohio’s 134th General Assembly enacted Senate Bill 288, which includes updated requirements for schools and districts related to child sexual abuse prevention and sexual violence prevention. The legislation includes requirements for student instruction, parent and legal guardian notification and training for school personnel.
