The restraint and seclusion data report for the 2020-2021 school year is available on the Department’s website.

New Rules for Public Comment

The Department regularly posts rules for public comment. Recently, a rule related to establishing criteria for awarding the diploma with honors opened for comment. Find the rule and related public comment deadlines on the Department’s website. Check the site often as additional rules may be added throughout the week.

Special Education Profiles updated with additional indicators

The Department has updated the 2021-2022 Special Education Profile for each school district and community school to include additional indicators. The indicators include data related to graduation rates, math and reading assessments, least restrictive environment and preschool outcomes.

Educator evaluation systems close June 15

Both educator evaluation systems, eTPES and OhioES, will remain open until June 15 for educators to enter and complete evaluation data for the 2021-2022 school year.
