FY22 Child Outcome Summary Assessment Data Appeal Open
From Monday, Aug. 29 through Friday, Sept. 9, districts may appeal their FY22 Child Outcome Summary Assessment data. This will be the only opportunity to appeal these data.

The superintendent, EMIS coordinator, and superintendent designee all can access and fill out the data appeal forms. However, the forms are not officially submitted to the Department until the superintendent approves the form to complete the process. For more information about the data appeal window, timeline, and completion process for superintendents, visit the EMIS Data Appeals webpage. For questions regarding data appeals, contact the Department's Office of Data Quality.

FY23 Retention Data Appeals Opening Soon
Starting on Sept. 6, districts may appeal their FY23 retention data. These data may affect measures on the 2022 Ohio School Report Cards as well as state funding received by the district. Note that this appeal window is shorter than most and will be open for only 2 days. This will be the only opportunity to appeal these data. For more details about this appeal, visit the EMIS Data Appeals webpage.

Completion Status for FY22 Report Card Data Review Updated
The completion status spreadsheet for the FY22 Report Card Data Review has been updated on the EMIS Data Review & Verification webpage. The Department will update this status document every week.

Superintendents must complete a required review of their 2022 student, assessment, calendar, staff, course, and CTE follow up data reported in EMIS by Monday, Sept. 12. Superintendents must signify whether these data are accurate as they complete and submit the 2022 Report Card Data Review form. For more information about the data review window, timeline, and completion process, visit the webpage above. For questions regarding data reviews, contact the Department's Office of Data Quality.
