Participants may substitute the certification qualifications for their driving skills by participating in a regional and/or state school bus driver safety road-e-o. Drivers must achieve a minimum of 80% of the possible points, and must complete during the driver's current six-year certification period, pursuant with OAC 3301-83-10 (G6). All other qualifications for school bus drivers are to be met prior to application for a renewal certificate.
