FINE ARTS NEW TEACHER COHORTS

New teachers will learn the nuts and bolts of teaching in Ohio from expert teachers and educational partners. Join colleagues from across the state virtually in these supportive cohorts that will assist new teachers in navigating a successful year of teaching. Topics will include standards-driven lesson planning, innovative practices, advocacy, program development and more.
All meetings will be held virtually the second Tuesday of the month from 4:30-6:00 p.m. September-April.

Contact hours will be given upon completion of the cohort.

The National Coalition for Arts Standards created the Model Cornerstone Assessments (MCA) to inform teaching and learning for all arts disciplines and a template to create an MCA to meet your local needs.
