Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Posted for 2023-2024 List of Approved Assessments

The Department has posted the RFQ for the List of Approved Assessments. This process will identify assessments for inclusion on the state's Approved List of Assessments, including dyslexia screeners, for the 2023-2024 school year. Districts may choose to inform any assessment vendors they wish to be considered that the RFQ is posted on the List of Approved Assessments page. Applications are due Jan. 13, 2023. Contact statetests@education.ohio.gov with questions. 
 

Dropout Prevention and Recovery Testing Window

The first test window for Star testing for dropout prevention and recovery schools will end on Dec. 23, 2022. The second window will open for testing Jan. 3, 2023, and will remain open through May 26, 2023. Information about test administration and other resources is located on the Dropout Prevention and Recovery Assessments page.
 

Upcoming Activities for State-Funded ACT and SAT Testing

Bulk registration for both State-Funded ACT and SAT testing is due to begin in January. Please follow the links on the State-Funded ACT and State-Funded SAT testing pages for information on test windows, requests for accommodations and activities to get ready for spring testing.
