Local computer-based testing sites needed

Educational Testing Services (ETS) is seeking districts or educational service centers that are interested in serving as testing sites for the computer-based ParaPro Assessment. ETS will compensate testing venues $10 for each ParaPro candidate tested; the payment will be issued on a quarterly basis.

Teacher and principal evaluators need to “re-calibrate” their credentials

If you are an administrator or teacher who became a credentialed evaluator during the past two years for either the Ohio Teacher or Principal Evaluation System, you can renew your designation by successfully completing training and a test.

Clarification about middle school career-technical education

A local board of education may adopt a resolution that its district will not provide career-technical education students enrolled in grades 7 and 8. The Ohio Department of Education must receive that resolution by Sept. 30, 2015, in order to grant a waiver to the district for the 2015-2016 school year.
