These standards are designed for collaborative use by both English learner and content-area teachers in the context of English language development and content-area instruction.

Ohio English Language Proficiency Screener (OELPS) and the
Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA) align to these standards.
Ohio Learning Standards-Extended for ELP
Ohio Learning Standards-Extended for ELP address the language development of English learners with significant cognitive disabilities. They correspond to the Ohio English Language Proficiency Standards and are the basis for the
Alternate Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (Alt-OELPA).
Instructional Roadmap for Ohio's English Learners
The Instructional Roadmap for Ohio's English Learners is part of the Advancing Ohio’s English Learners project. The Roadmap provides Ohio educators with a single point of reference for evidence-based instructional strategies that enhance curriculum and instruction, helping them support the education of English learners more effectively.
