State-funded spring 2023 ACT, SAT registration and Dropout Recovery Assessment windows

Update: ACT recently extended the deadline for requesting accommodations and supports for the spring administration. The new deadline is Jan. 13. Learn more here.

Districts should be aware of the many approaching deadlines and windows related to state-funded ACT or SAT testing and the Dropout Recovery Assessment. These dates begin in January and occur through spring 2023.

The window for bulk registrations for SAT administrations in March and April opens Jan. 3, 2023. During this window, districts upload student information to register students for the test. Bulk registration for the March testing window closes Jan. 10, 2023. Bulk registration for the April testing window closes Feb. 3, 2023. The deadline to request accommodations and supports for the March SAT testing administration is Jan. 25, 2023.^.The deadline to request accommodations and supports for the April SAT administration is Feb. 21, 2023. The ACT accommodations and supports request deadline is Jan. 6. The Student Data Upload (SDU) deadline for all three test windows is Jan. 13. SDU allows districts to register students for the test.
