Ohio 22+ Adult High School Diploma Program: School District Responsibilities
The 22+ High School Diploma Program is a competency-based credit recovery program designed to help adults earn their high school diplomas. The program is free to adults who do not have a high school diploma or equivalent, are at least 22 years old, and live in Ohio.
Responsibilities of a School District of Residence
Once a student has completed the requirements of the 22+ High School Diploma Program through an approved provider, the student’s district of residence is responsible for issuing a high school diploma and final transcript within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion from an approved 22+ High School Diploma Program provider.
- EMIS or other similar programs should not be used to create the final transcript.
